Job Description
1. Greet and direct Customers.
2. Answering customer questions
3. Manage orders and customer deliveries
4. Ability to solve Customers problems promptly
5. Keeping the sales counter neat.
6. Assist Customers in preparing their orders.
7. Fluent in English Communication.
8. Well groomed and presentable.
LOCATION: CENTRAL KOLKATA, NORTH KOLKATA, SOUTH KOLKATA, SALTLAKE AND RAJARHAT.
BENEFITS: ON DUTY MEAL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: ANY GRADUATE.
PASSING OUT YEARS: 2021 TO 2024.
AGE CRITERIA: 18 TO 34 YRS.
STIPEND AMOUNTS: RS. 9000/- + WBAPS PORTAL RS. 1500/-.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Assistance and Sales
-
Greet walk-in customers warmly and assist them in selecting products based on their needs and preferences.

Provide product information, answer queries, and offer alternatives if the requested item is unavailable.

Demonstrate features and benefits of products where applicable (especially in electronics, appliances, etc.).

Convert enquiries into sales and meet daily/weekly sales targets.
2. Counter Operations
-
Manage the sales counter, display merchandise neatly, and ensure the counter is clean and organized.

Handle cash and card transactions, generate bills/invoices, and ensure accurate entry of customer details.

Ensure stock availability and update the supervisor on fast-moving or out-of-stock items.
3. Product Knowledge and Promotion
-
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, prices, warranties, and promotions.

Upsell and cross-sell related products or accessories to increase basket size.

Educate customers on ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and return policies.
4. Inventory and Stock Handling
-
Check received stock, label items, and arrange them appropriately on display.

Assist in periodic stock audits and physical inventory checks.

Report damaged or expired items promptly to management.
5. Customer Feedback and Service

Collect feedback and address customer concerns professionally.

Maintain long-term relationships with repeat customers by offering good service.

Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate to the manager when necessary.
Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of using billing software or POS (Point of Sale) systems.

Familiarity with handling cash and card transactions.
Soft Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Presentable and professional appearance.

Customer-oriented approach with a helpful attitude.
