Job Description

This is shop for birthday decoration material and baking material of cake and chocolate. Need staff for attending customer politely and give them goods and take payment. And normal shop stock and shop maintaining.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly upon arrival and engage with them in a friendly, helpful manner.
Understand customer needs and suggest appropriate products, such as birthday decorations, cake ingredients, chocolates, and baking tools.
Provide product information, answer queries, and guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
Handle customer complaints or issues with patience, professionalism, and a solution-oriented approach.
Ensure that each customer experience is pleasant, resulting in high satisfaction and repeat business.

2. Sales Transactions:

Operate the cash register, process payments through various methods (cash, card, online payment), and issue receipts.
Calculate the total amount due, apply any discounts or promotions, and ensure accurate change is given.
Maintain a neat and organized checkout area, ensuring that all payment-related processes are carried out smoothly.
Keep track of sales and update records as required.

3. Stock Management:

Monitor inventory levels of birthday decorations, baking materials, cakes, chocolates, and other related products.
Assist in stocking shelves, ensuring products are neatly arranged and easily accessible for customers.
Keep an eye on product expiration dates, especially for perishable items like cakes and chocolates, and inform the manager if any stock needs to be replaced or reordered.
Assist with regular stocktaking and inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstock.

4. Shop Maintenance:

Ensure that the shop remains clean and organized, with shelves, counters, and displays well-maintained.
Ensure that products are properly labeled, and display areas are tidy, appealing, and stocked appropriately.
Take responsibility for ensuring that the store environment is visually attractive, especially in seasonal or themed sections like birthday decorations.
Ensure the shop is free of clutter, and products are well-presented at all times.

5. Cash Handling and Reporting:

Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a cash register balance by counting the money at the beginning and end of your shift.
Follow all company policies regarding cash handling, receipts, and daily reports.
Maintain accurate records of sales and stock movement.

6. Customer Relationship Building:

Build rapport with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Suggest new or popular products to customers, increasing sales opportunities.
Invite customers to subscribe to newsletters or follow the store on social media for special offers and updates.
