Credt & Collections Specialist

Finance Bangalore, India R18833

Responsibilities :

Manage the credit function for the respective region (ANZ, ASEAN, India); daily follow-up with customers by telephone and/or e-mail, as well as, customer self-service portals
Maintenance of the centralized customer files both in SAP and shared reports
Provide recommendations for bad debt write-offs and refunds
Assist the cash application team with the accurate allocation of customer payments
Maintenance of the withholding tax file and collecting and filing of the WHT certificates
The uploading/data entry of invoices for customers with self-service protals
Assisting the order services team in Bangalore with the creation and presentation of the various types on manual and pro-forma invoices
Monitor accounts to ensure that credit limits are in line with internal guidelines
Review the credit hold list (ZVKM1) on a daily basis and subsequent releasing of orders
Running various month-end and SOX reports
Make recommendations for process improvements
Participate in meetings with sales support, renewals teams and order services team, as well as the GEO credit & collections teams

Basic Qualifications :

Business/Economics/Accounting degree
Extensive SAP and SalesForce experience
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to problem solve and collaborate
Communication and Interpersonal skills
Analytical and accounting skills
