JRF Pathology job position in Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA)
Title : Hyper spectral remote sensing for crop condition assessment in dry land crops, a networked project on Big Data Analytics, Hyper spectral Data, Funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, sanctioned for 3 years period, up to March, 2019
JRF/ 01 Post
Qualification : M.Sc (Ag) specialization in Entomology, Pathology, Agronomy, Soil science, Plant Physiology or any other related disciplines. Desirable: Experience in field studies and statistical analysis of field and laboratory data

Qualification : M.Sc or M.Tech in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoinformatics and Spatial Information Technology Desirable: Experience in processing Hyperspectral remote sensing data /imaging spectrometry of ground, air or satellite based sensors with knowledge on programming IDL/ ‘R’/ and optimization techniques.
Pay Scale : Rs.25,000/- +30% HRA per month for 1st and 2nd Yr; Rs.28,000/- + 30% HRA for 3rd Yr

Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) at Hyderabad in 1985 to embark upon lead and strategic research in dryland agriculture leaving location/region specific problems and their solutions to AICRPDA. The organizational set-up of CRIDA is shown below. With the launching of the National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP) by the Council during the year 1998, CRIDA was further strengthened with the responsibility of planning and coordinating research on a production system mode under the rainfed agro-eco system.
