Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of marketing and customer relationship management, using campaigns, communication, and insights to drive engagement, retention, and growth.

As a Customer Marketing Executive, your main goal will be to strengthen customer loyalty, improve satisfaction, and support cross-sell/up-sell opportunities through targeted marketing initiatives. You will work closely with sales, product, customer success, and design teams to ensure that customers feel valued, informed, and connected to the brand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Communication & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute customer-facing marketing campaigns via email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and other channels.

  • Develop regular communication for existing customers, including newsletters, product updates, offers, and service alerts.

  • Personalize messaging based on customer segments, preferences, and engagement behavior.

  • Work with design and content teams to create compelling visuals and copy for campaigns.

2. Customer Engagement & Loyalty Programs

  • Assist in the development and management of loyalty programs, rewards systems, and customer referral initiatives.

  • Identify high-value customers and design programs to recognize and retain them.

  • Collaborate with the sales and support teams to promote engagement opportunities such as webinars, feedback surveys, and promotional events.

3. Customer Retention & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Analyze customer behavior and lifecycle stages to create targeted retention campaigns.

  • Support the development of win-back strategies for inactive or churned customers.

  • Design automated workflows for onboarding, usage encouragement, renewal reminders, and milestone celebrations.

4. CRM Management & Data Segmentation

  • Work closely with the CRM team to segment customers based on purchase behavior, demographics, region, or product usage.

  • Maintain and update customer databases and lists to ensure accuracy for campaign targeting.

  • Use tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or Mailchimp for list building, tracking, and performance analysis.

5. Customer Feedback & Insights

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret customer feedback through surveys, reviews, and interaction reports.

  • Collaborate with the product or support teams to use customer insights to improve offerings and service delivery.

  • Monitor review platforms and social media for sentiment analysis and response coordination.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.

  • Coordinate with product teams to roll out marketing support for new launches, upgrades, or features.

  • Act as a bridge between the brand and its customer base to ensure consistent messaging and a high-quality experience.

7. Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Track the performance of customer marketing campaigns using KPIs such as open rate, click-through rate, conversions, and retention rate.

  • Present weekly or monthly reports to the marketing and leadership teams with campaign insights and recommendations.

  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data and customer response.
