Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to increase loyalty and retention.

Act as a single point of contact for clients regarding their insurance needs, policy information, renewals, and claims assistance.

Engage with high-value customers to provide personalized service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales and Business Development
-
Promote and sell ICICI Lombard’s general insurance products (motor, health, travel, home, and commercial insurance).

Generate new business through referrals, walk-ins, outbound calls, and upselling/cross-selling existing customers.

Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate insurance products based on customers' life stages and financial needs.
Bancassurance / Channel Engagement

Coordinate with banking or partner branches (if applicable) to generate leads and facilitate product pitches.

Build strong working relationships with branch staff to encourage joint client meetings and referrals.

Conduct product training and awareness activities at partner branches to drive business growth.
Customer Service and Retention
-
Assist customers with onboarding, documentation, premium payments, endorsements, and policy renewals.

Handle and resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently.

Proactively follow up with customers for renewals and ensure timely policy continuation to avoid lapses.
Operational Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in CRM tools or databases.

Track leads, conversions, sales targets, and performance metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Ensure adherence to compliance, KYC (Know Your Customer), and regulatory norms during customer interaction and onboarding.
