Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term, profitable relationships with key customers. Your primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty through consistent communication, problem-solving, and support.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and relationship builder with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to act as a liaison between customers and internal teams. This role requires a proactive and service-oriented approach, as well as the ability to handle multiple accounts and manage high expectations with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building Long-Term Customer Relationships:

  • Establish and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with high-value clients and strategic accounts.

  • Understand customers’ business goals, industry challenges, and specific needs to provide tailored support and solutions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building rapport and ensuring ongoing engagement.

2. Understanding Customer Demands and Requirements:

  • Communicate with customers regularly to gather feedback, identify concerns, and understand expectations.

  • Actively listen to customer preferences, suggestions, and pain points to improve service delivery and product offerings.

  • Conduct periodic check-ins, satisfaction surveys, and account reviews to ensure clients’ evolving needs are met.

3. Handling Complaints and Inquiries:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, inquiries, and requests.

  • Investigate issues thoroughly and provide accurate solutions within reasonable timeframes.

  • Ensure a smooth escalation process for unresolved or complex problems, following through to resolution.

  • Maintain a calm and empathetic approach when dealing with dissatisfied clients.

4. Coordinating with Internal Teams:

  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for client interests in discussions with sales, support, operations, and product development teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent service and improve customer outcomes.

  • Ensure customer requirements are communicated clearly to relevant departments and incorporated into planning and delivery.

5. Customer Retention and Satisfaction:

  • Implement strategies to improve customer retention, engagement, and satisfaction.

  • Monitor client health indicators such as service usage, support history, and feedback to identify at-risk accounts.

  • Develop customized plans for relationship recovery or reinforcement where necessary.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.

6. Reporting and Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, communications, and service history using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).

  • Analyze customer feedback and trends to generate insights for improving service delivery.

  • Prepare regular reports on customer satisfaction, complaint resolution time, and account performance for senior management.

7. Onboarding and Support:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring they are fully oriented to products, services, and support channels.

  • Provide training, tutorials, and documentation to enhance customer experience.

  • Monitor the transition from sales to service and offer guidance throughout the customer journey.
