IDFC First Bank Ltd. is hiring dynamic and customer-oriented individuals for the role of Customer Service and Upselling Executive in a voice-based process. This role involves handling customer queries and promoting banking products over voice calls, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound voice calls to assist customers with their banking queries.
Provide solutions related to products such as savings accounts, personal loans, credit cards, mobile banking, etc.
Upsell and cross-sell relevant financial products based on customer profile and needs.
1. Customer Interaction (Voice-Based):

Handle a high volume of inbound or outbound calls from existing or potential customers.

Address customer questions, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy.

Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, or procedures.

Troubleshoot product or service issues, resolve complaints, and escalate complex cases to higher departments when necessary.
2. Upselling and Cross-Selling:

Understand customer needs and recommend relevant products or upgrades during the call.

Promote value-added services, plans, accessories, or offers aligned with the customer’s usage or preferences.

Meet or exceed defined sales targets (upselling, renewals, upgrades, subscriptions, etc.).

Use suggestive selling techniques while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
3. Data Entry and CRM Updates:

Accurately document customer interactions, updates, complaints, and sales outcomes in the CRM or database.

Maintain a daily log of all calls, resolutions provided, and conversions achieved.

Ensure confidentiality and security of customer data as per company policies.
4. Collaboration and Process Adherence:

Work closely with the quality and training team to improve call quality and customer handling techniques.

Adhere to call scripts, process guidelines, and compliance requirements.

Provide feedback to supervisors on recurring customer issues, trends, and suggestions for process improvements.
5. Customer Retention and Relationship Building:

Strive to retain customers who are considering discontinuing service through proactive engagement and value reinforcement.

Follow up with customers post-sale or post-resolution to ensure satisfaction and reinforce the relationship.

Participate in customer loyalty campaigns or win-back programs as needed.
