Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate to handle customer inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure excellent service. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first approach.
Responds to customer inquiries by understanding inquiry; reviewing previous inquiries and responses; gathering and researching information; assembling and forwarding information; verifying customer's understanding of information and answer.
Good communication in English
Fluency in Tamil / Malayalam
Plus Two / Graduates

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Support & Inquiry Handling:

    • Assist customers by answering inquiries regarding products, services, orders, policies, and procedures.

    • Handle incoming calls, emails, or chat inquiries, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate information.

    • Resolve issues in a professional manner, ensuring that the customer's concern is addressed efficiently.

  2. Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting:

    • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, concerns, or technical issues in a timely manner.

    • Offer effective solutions to problems and follow up with customers to ensure the resolution meets expectations.

    • Maintain a calm and empathetic demeanor, especially when dealing with upset or dissatisfied customers.

  3. Product and Service Knowledge:

    • Stay up-to-date on the company's products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.

    • Offer recommendations based on customer needs, helping to enhance the customer’s experience and satisfaction.

    • Provide training or guidance to customers on product usage, troubleshooting, or best practices.

  4. Customer Retention:

    • Build strong relationships with customers through personalized service and attention to detail.

    • Engage in customer retention strategies by offering loyalty programs, service upgrades, or assistance with re-ordering.

    • Work towards customer satisfaction and loyalty, encouraging repeat business and positive feedback.

  5. Order Management & Documentation:

    • Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and cancellations in the system accurately.

    • Ensure that all relevant customer details are recorded and updated in the company’s customer management system.

    • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions to ensure proper follow-up and future reference.

  6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Work with other departments, such as sales, technical support, or logistics, to ensure customers receive prompt and accurate service.

    • Report issues or recurring problems to the appropriate team or department for further investigation and resolution.

    • Assist in the implementation of new customer service processes or systems as needed.

  7. Adherence to Company Policies:

    • Ensure that all customer service practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

    • Maintain confidentiality of customer data and adhere to data privacy laws and company protocols.

  8. Performance Metrics & Targets:

    • Meet or exceed performance targets, such as call handling time, customer satisfaction ratings, and first-call resolution.

    • Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and contribute to improving customer service metrics.
