Job Title: Customer Support Engineer – Telecom
Job Summary
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting telecom network issues. The candidate will handle customer queries, resolve service problems, and ensure smooth network operations while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to telecom customers for network, connectivity, and service issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot network faults in technologies like 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, or 5G.
Monitor network performance and respond to customer complaints or service requests.
Work with internal teams such as Network Operations Center (NOC), RF, and Field Engineers to resolve issues.
Configure and support telecom equipment like routers, switches, microwave links, and fiber networks.
Perform remote troubleshooting and escalation of critical network problems.
Maintain service logs, incident reports, and documentation in ticketing tools.
Ensure SLA compliance and quick resolution of customer issues.
Provide guidance to customers regarding telecom services and technical solutions.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Telecom Networks (2G/3G/4G/5G)
Understanding of IP Networking, TCP/IP, Routing & Switching
Experience with FTTx, GPON, Microwave, or Wireless Networks
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer handling skills
