Job Description
What does a Customer Service Representative do?
A customer service
representative, or CSR, will act as a connecting link between
prospect/customer and the company, provide product/services
information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might
face with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming
& outgoing calls
- Handling
customer query over Chat
- Attracts
potential customers by answering product and service questions;
suggesting information about other products and services
- Identify and
assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide
accurate, valid and complete information by using the right
methods/tools
- Handle
complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within
the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of
customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow
communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Excellent
communication and presentation skills (US English)
- Proven customer
support experience or experience as a client service
representative
- Good knowledge
of live chat system
- Strong phone
call handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity
with CRM systems and practices
- Customer
orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of
characters
- Ability to
multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Ability to use
a desktop computer system
- Good knowledge
of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient
knowledge of email applications
