Job Description

What does a Customer Service Representative do?

A customer service representative, or CSR, will act as a connecting link between prospect/customer and the company, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming & outgoing calls
  • Handling customer query over Chat
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (US English)
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Good knowledge of live chat system
  • Strong phone call handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
Computer Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to use a desktop computer system
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient knowledge of email applications
