Customer Support Associate
Job Description
- Handle customer queries related to insurance policies and services with professionalism and clarity.
- Ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries
- Work collaboratively within a team to meet performance goals and service standard
- Graduation is a must
- Fluent in Tami lor Malayalam with good English communication
- Freshers and experienced both are welcome
- Flexible with Day rotational shifts and Weekly rotational offs
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Interaction
-
Handle incoming calls, chats, or emails from policyholders, agents, or prospects.

Provide clear and correct information regarding policies, premiums, claims, renewals, and other insurance-related topics.

Assist customers in understanding policy benefits, terms and conditions, and claim processes.

Explain billing, payment options, and document requirements clearly and professionally.
2. Claims & Policy Support
-
Assist with the initiation or follow-up of insurance claims.

Guide customers in submitting the correct documents.

Track and update claim statuses or escalate cases to the concerned department when needed.

Help with policy endorsements, renewals, and policy issuance queries.
3. Problem Solving
-
Resolve customer complaints and queries on time, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Record customer issues accurately in the system for tracking and analysis.

Provide alternate solutions or escalate unresolved issues appropriately.

Follow up with customers for feedback, pending documents, or ongoing issues.
4. Documentation & Data Entry
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and transactions.
-
Use CRM or internal software tools to log details of inquiries, complaints, or actions taken.

Ensure data privacy and compliance with insurance industry regulations and company policy.
5. Coordination
-
Coordinate with other internal teams such as claims, underwriting, accounts, and IT for issue resolution.

Forward necessary documents or queries to the right department in a timely manner.

Work closely with supervisors and quality analysts to improve process effectiveness.
