Job Description:

• Trainee engineers will be imparted on the job training to fill positions as Customer Support Engineers, who are responsible for handling first and second level support for simple and complex voice/data communication problems for telecom carriers and call centers.
  

 Candidates MUST fulfill the following requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Excellent analytical, logical problem resolution skills.
• Good knowledge of voice communication systems and protocols like TDM, VoIP, GSM, Codecs etc.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, SMTP, POP etc.
• Good knowledge of network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and knowledge of network topologies.
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Linux and Linux based tools together with scripting skills in Perl, Python etc.
• Knowledge of related disciplines, e.g., computer security, algorithms, database, and operating systems.
• Should be open to work in flexible shifts in a 24x7 environment.
• Certifications from Red Hat and Cisco would be an added advantage

 Role Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshooting of technical issues related to telecom networks, software and/or hardware.
• Providing phone or remote diagnostic technical support related to installation, operation, configuration, customization, performance, and usage of Eurus’s services and products, and solving customer issues both simple and challenging.
• Partner with and learn from technical support specialists to improve customer experience elements - correct solutions, consistent procedural adherence, customer satisfaction.

 Educational Qualification: 

• BE, B Tech in CS, IT, or ECE
• Exceptional Diploma Holders will also be considered.

Other Information

• Trainee engineers will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs 10,000 per month during the training period that may last up to 6 months or more. 
• Upon successful completion of training, the trainees will be appointed as Customer Support Engineers with a salary review.
