Role and Responsibilities

§  Assist the operations team and proactively communicate any problems and updates to customers.

§  Prepare necessary paper for customs clearance and ensure all documents are in order.

• Ensure that location of dispatched trucks and trailers is always known.
• Maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information through updates in the TMS.
• Address driver enquiries while they are on road or enroute and provide solutions.
• Communicate load information to drivers through mobile communications.
• Monitor loads in PCS and ensure that the loads are being updated by the driver.
• Collect paperwork from drivers through mobile communications.
• Escalate necessary repairs and driver’s needs including issuing T-Cheks for any lumpers, etc. to the Dispatch Service Supervisor.
• Notify operations team and supervisor of any service failures and/or claims.
• Ensure orders entered in the system are complete with information, notify operations department of any short falls.

• Any Graduate or Post Graduate
• Flexible schedule that includes occasional weekends, holidays and possibly after-hours
