Customer Support RepresentativeDepartment: Customer ServiceReports To: Customer Service Supervisor / Team LeadSummary:The Customer Support Representative is the first point of contact for customers seekingassistance via phone. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, resolvinginquiries and issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They must possess strongcommunication skills, problem-solving abilities, and product knowledge to effectively assistcustomers and maintain a positive brand image.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Interaction:o Answer incoming calls from customers in a timely and professional manner.o Listen attentively to customer inquiries and concerns.o Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards customers.o Provide accurate and complete information regarding products, services, policies,and procedures.o Use active listening skills to identify customer needs and provide appropriatesolutions.o Clarify customer information, research issues, and provide resolutions oralternatives.o Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisors or specialized departmentsas needed. Problem Resolution:o Troubleshoot customer problems and provide step-by-step guidance.o Utilize available resources (knowledge base, manuals, etc.) to research andresolve inquiries.o Collaborate with other departments to find solutions for customer issues.o Document all customer interactions in the call center database or CRM system.
