Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop, update, and implement security measures and controls
2. Secure digital files and information systems, protecting them from unauthorized access or tampering
3. Provide technical support and monitor security access
4. Perform regular internal and external security audits
5. Design intruder detection and prevention systems to prevent network invasion
6. Analyze the source of security breaches
7. Recommend and implement security tools and anti-malware software
8. Determine, adapt, and maintain corporate security procedures and policies
9. Provide staff with security awareness training
10. Coordinate security measures with external contacts
11. Inform management of security vulnerabilities
12. Identify cybercrime perpetrators and liaise with the appropriate authorities, if necessary
