Our team decided to pivot Aapoon to be a social media platform that is by the Indians and for the Indians. Aapoon offers social media, messaging, and conferencing services. We offer unlimited members with a communication hierarchy, which is a first in the social media domain. We also have a meeting software called Aapoon meet (Android) for online meetings, user ID verification with artificial intelligence technology, and WhatsApp, Facebook, and Zoom like functionalities, all in one application.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Apply concepts, protocols, and tools acquired through coursework in the real world by working side-by-side with our cybersecurity professionals
2. Work on the identification and analysis of malicious code, forensics analysis, incident handling, and intrusion detection and prevention
3. Work on providing day-to-day support as needed
4. Conduct risk analysis/assessments of applications or vendors and communicating results to drive proactive remediation
5. Support efforts to establish and leverage enterprise identity and access management processes
6. Work on identifying, building, and delivering effective security awareness and training campaigns and material
7. Work on gathering, reporting, analyzing, and delivering various security metrics
8. Participate in logging and monitoring processes, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and application security/penetration testing
9. Work on hands-on administration and configuration of enterprise cybersecurity tools (anti-virus, email security, firewalls, etc.)
10. Apply skills in the areas of requirements definition, vulnerability discovery, security hardening of existing products, and defensive control capability implementations
11. Work on researching and recommending security products that could be used in the environment to increase security posture and enhance security usability
