Job Description:

Compare malware to existing malware signatures.
Responsible for analysing malicious code by using static and dynamic reverse engineering techniques then liaise with threat intelligence analysts to produce useful and meaning malware signatures.
Use of industry tools and software, including debuggers, hex editors, disassemblers, un-packers, network sniffers and VMs.
Act as an advisor to recommend mitigating controls and remediation’s to further prevent the spread of malware, malicious code, and applications. This may also include assistance in post-incident recovery procedures.
Help design and implement early-warning mechanisms to prevent the spread of malicious code and software.
