Job Description

Skilled Cylindrical grinding Machine Operator needed for reputed Company located in Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities

1️⃣ Machine Operation & Setup

Set up and operate conventional & CNC cylindrical grinding machines.
Adjust machine settings for feed rates, wheel speed, depth of cut, and surface finish.
Select the appropriate grinding wheels and tools based on material type and finish requirements.

2️⃣ Precision Grinding & Quality Control

Perform outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID) grinding with high precision.
Use micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances.
Interpret and work with engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to ensure accuracy.

3️⃣ Material Handling & Workpiece Preparation

Load and align workpieces properly on the machine using chucks, centers, and fixtures.
Monitor the grinding process to ensure proper coolant flow, wheel dressing, and surface integrity.
Check for defects, burns, or irregularities in the finished product and make necessary adjustments.

4️⃣ Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Regularly inspect and maintain grinding machines for optimal performance.
Dress and balance grinding wheels to maintain precision.
Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or defects to minimize downtime.

5️⃣ Safety & Compliance

Follow workplace safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Adhere to ISO quality standards and company production guidelines.
Keep workstations clean and organized.
