About Company
D.A.V. College Hoshiarpur is situated on Hoshiarpur-Chandigarh road. Affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh, it is a grant-in-aid institution. The college was established by the trust ,whose aim was to promote and spread education in the rural heartland of Punjab in pre-partition days. The institution was recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) in April 1956. It offers a wide range of courses and programmes in Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) classes. It offers seven UG programmes in B.A., B.Com., B.Com. with E-commerce, B.Sc. (Non-Medical), B.Sc. (Medical) ,B.Sc. (Computer Science) and B.C.A. besides three PG Programs in M.A. (Political Science, Punjabi and History) and M.Sc in Information Technology. The college also offers vocational courses in Computer Science and Applications at the UG level.The college functions under the guidance of DAV College Managing Committee, Hoshiarpur.
