We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to join our team and inspire students through creative movement, discipline, and the joy of dance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dance instruction, a love for teaching, and the ability to motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging classes, choreographing routines for performances, and nurturing students' talents. Whether you specialize in classical dance, Bollywood, hip-hop, contemporary, or fusion styles, we welcome individuals who are committed to sharing their expertise in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dance Instruction:

Plan, prepare, and deliver structured and creative dance lessons based on the chosen style(s) and age group.

Teach basic to advanced dance techniques, postures, body movements, rhythm, and performance skills.

Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students and diverse learning levels.
2. Choreography:

Choreograph solo, group, and collaborative dance routines for events, recitals, school programs, or competitions.

Innovate and blend styles when needed to meet performance themes and student capabilities.

Ensure choreography is age-appropriate, culturally respectful, and in alignment with institutional goals.
3. Performance Management:

Prepare students for stage performances, annual day programs, cultural shows, and inter-school/inter-college competitions.

Organize and lead rehearsals, ensuring punctuality, discipline, and positive participation.

Coordinate with music teams, costume designers, and event managers for seamless production.
4. Classroom & Student Management:

Maintain a disciplined, energetic, and supportive classroom environment.

Foster self-confidence, teamwork, and respect through group practice and individual feedback.

Encourage regular practice and motivate students to improve technique and expression.
5. Curriculum & Evaluation:

Design a progressive curriculum with clear learning objectives and skill development benchmarks.

Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining records.

Offer individual guidance and mentoring to students interested in pursuing dance professionally.
6. Administrative & Organizational Support:

Maintain attendance records and submit periodic reports on class performance and activities.

Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions when necessary.

Help plan extracurricular programs, workshops, and guest artist collaborations.
