Job Description
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to support our analytics team in extracting insights from structured and unstructured data. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical thinking, basic SQL/Python skills, and a hunger to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection and Management

Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and third-party platforms.

Develop and maintain dashboards, databases, and data collection systems that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Ensure data integrity and perform regular data audits to maintain accuracy and completeness.
2. Data Analysis

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can support business decisions.

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.

Apply data mining techniques and perform statistical analysis to identify business improvement opportunities.
3. Reporting and Visualization

Create meaningful reports and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar.

Design and deliver executive-level reports and presentations that summarize key findings, insights, and recommendations.

Develop automated reporting systems to streamline the analytics process and reduce manual effort.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with department leads to understand their objectives and provide data solutions tailored to their needs.

Collaborate with IT, software developers, and data engineers to ensure smooth data flow and system integration.

Participate in strategic meetings to provide data-driven insights and contribute to business planning.
5. Forecasting and Predictive Modeling

Assist in developing models that forecast trends, customer behaviors, or business outcomes.

Use statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and business intelligence tools to support predictive analysis.

Continuously improve existing models and stay up-to-date with the latest analytical techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL.

Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.

Understanding of statistical techniques and concepts (e.g., regression, distributions, significance testing, etc.)
Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
