Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent technical skills, and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets across various departments. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Management:

Collect and compile data from internal systems, databases, and third-party sources.

Maintain and manage data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data.

Work with IT and engineering teams to ensure data integrity and availability.

Develop and enforce data governance standards to ensure consistency and quality across datasets.
2. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

Use statistical methods to interpret data sets, paying attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics.

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics relevant to organizational goals.

Deliver insights through written reports, presentations, and visualizations to non-technical stakeholders.
3. Reporting and Visualization:

Create dashboards and dynamic reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

Automate and streamline reporting processes to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.

Provide recurring and ad-hoc reports to business units including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

Ensure all visualizations adhere to best practices in design and clarity to facilitate easy understanding.
4. Business Collaboration:

Partner with business units to define analytical goals and align data insights with strategic initiatives.

Translate business questions into data analysis projects and provide solutions based on data.

Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Serve as a data consultant to other teams, guiding them on how to utilize data for decision-making.
5. Data Quality and Continuous Improvement:

Monitor and maintain data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.

Identify and resolve data-related issues and inconsistencies in collaboration with data engineers.

Recommend improvements to existing data collection methods, database systems, and analysis tools.

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and data science.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Minimum years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R).

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling, and data manipulation techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
