Job Title : Data Analyst
Job Location : OMR, Kandanchavadi, Chennai.
Experience : 3-6 Years
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviewing and scrubbing the data files received from clients.
- Ability to work with large delimited files (FLAT, CSV, TSV, XLS, etc.)
- Ability to clean and normalize data files for loading preparation
- Responsible for maintaining data loading schedule for various clients.
- Liaison with Operations, Account Management, and Engineering regarding timelines and issues that occur with data.
- Generating data loading and quality reports.
- Experience in system interoperability and data migration between different systems.
- Manage and archive client data
- Applying logics to sanitize the data and ensure only clean data is maintained.
- Uploading/downloading from SFTP.
- Ability to create and work with excel macros preferred.
- Ability to work with SQL (backend loading, querying, etc.) is an added advantage
- Experience in handling X12 EDI data files or healthcare datasets is preferable
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer science-related streams (BCA / BSc Comp. Sci, MCA, MSc. Comp Sci, etc.)
- 3 + years of experience in working with Data
- Excellent in MS Office, especially MS Excel. Should be proficient to create excel macros and analytics reporting.
- Strong technical and Analytical skills
- Excellent visual design sense and presentation skills.
- Process Analysis and Interpersonal skills.
- Working with healthcare data like claims, lab, pharmacy, member, etc. will be an added advantage.
- Skills on any data mining/programming tools will be an added advantage
