Job Title : Data Analyst

Job Location : OMR, Kandanchavadi, Chennai.

Experience : 3-6 Years

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Reviewing and scrubbing the data files received from clients.
Ability to work with large delimited files (FLAT, CSV, TSV, XLS, etc.)
Ability to clean and normalize data files for loading preparation
Responsible for maintaining data loading schedule for various clients.
Liaison with Operations, Account Management, and Engineering regarding timelines and issues that occur with data.
Generating data loading and quality reports.
Experience in system interoperability and data migration between different systems.
Manage and archive client data
Applying logics to sanitize the data and ensure only clean data is maintained.
Uploading/downloading from SFTP.
Ability to create and work with excel macros preferred.
Ability to work with SQL (backend loading, querying, etc.) is an added advantage
Experience in handling X12 EDI data files or healthcare datasets is preferable

Required Skills

Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer science-related streams (BCA / BSc Comp. Sci, MCA, MSc. Comp Sci, etc.)
3 + years of experience in working with Data
Excellent in MS Office, especially MS Excel. Should be proficient to create excel macros and analytics reporting.
Strong technical and Analytical skills
Excellent visual design sense and presentation skills.
Process Analysis and Interpersonal skills.
Working with healthcare data like claims, lab, pharmacy, member, etc. will be an added advantage.
Skills on any data mining/programming tools will be an added advantage
