We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Data Analytics Intern to join our data team in Chennai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to apply their skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark in real-world data environments. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving data engineering, data visualization, data science, and AI-driven solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze structured and semi-structured datasets using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
Assist in building and enhancing dashboards, visualizations, and reports using BI tools to present data insights.
Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to deliver impactful data solutions.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
Participate in the feature engineering process for AI and machine learning models.
Automate repetitive data tasks to improve pipeline efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to the development of proof-of-concept (POC) models and prototypes for analytics and AI use cases.
Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in data analytics, engineering, and AI.
Ensure data quality, consistency, privacy, and compliance with internal governance standards.
Document project processes, code, and learnings; participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Good foundational knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for data and eagerness to learn and grow
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree (completed) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Recent passed out or Previous year passed out is also eligible to apply with relevant skills
