Job Description
The Data Engineer will be an instrumental partof our growingData & Analytics team. The role will be responsible for developing, testing and supportingall aspects of our enterprise data warehouse. This includes developing/optimizing our data pipeline architecture.Data Engineer must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple groups and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop/validate/maintain data warehouse solutions while ensuring that they meet business requirements.
• Create and support optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Build data models, reporting solutions, dashboards andperformance metrics that support key business decisions.
• Assemble complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• Support/troubleshoot all aspects of our enterprise data platform.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience ina data engineering role or IT equivalent
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
• Experience developing/optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
• Experience working with the following: AWS cloud services/ Matillion / Snowflake / Power BI.
