Responsibilities
- Develop/validate/maintain data warehouse solutions while ensuring that they meet business requirements.
- Create and support optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Build data models, reporting solutions, dashboards andperformance metrics that support key business decisions.
- Assemble complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
- Support/troubleshoot all aspects of our enterprise data platform.
- 5+ years of experience ina data engineering role or IT equivalent
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
- Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
- Experience developing/optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
- Experience working with the following: AWS cloud services/ Matillion / Snowflake / Power BI.
