Job Description
Professional Summary: Results-driven Data Center Engineer with hands-on experience at NTT Global Data Centers maintaining 99.9% uptime across critical enterprise infrastructure. Proficient in rack & stack operations, server installation and configuration (HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge), structured cabling, and L1/L2 incident resolution. Skilled in monitoring Cisco networking devices, managing iLO/iDRAC server health, and handling ITSM workflows via ServiceNow. Certified AWS Solutions Architect and DevOps Engineer with additional expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain mission-critical data center infrastructure, consistently achieving 99.9% uptime SLA across multi-tenant colocation environments.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot HP ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge rack and blade servers; perform BIOS/firmware upgrades and hardware replacements.
Execute rack & stack operations, structured cabling (copper and fiber), and physical infrastructure builds in compliance with data center standards.
Monitor server health using iLO and iDRAC management tools; proactively identify and resolve hardware and OS-level anomalies.
Provide L1/L2 remote technical support for server, network, and infrastructure incidents; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and document resolution within SLA.
Monitor and support Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls to maintain network performance, secure connectivity, and uptime.
Log, track, and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests using ServiceNow ITSM platform.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and patch updates on Windows and Linux operating systems.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) operations; maintain documentation, rack diagrams, and audit compliance records.
Collaborate cross-functionally with network, security, and operations teams to plan and execute infrastructure deployments with zero downtime.
Education: Bachelor of Engineering – Information Science & Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (Jun 2019 – Jul 2023).
