Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform—Power BI, Power Apps, Sharepoint and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable business intelligence solutions and automation workflows that drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making across the organization. International is our commercial unit at Novartis and our task is to ensure that our medicines reach every person who can benefit from them across all respective markets. The BSI Team exists to drive commercial impact at scale across International Regions and Countries (IRC).
Key Responsibilities
Power BI:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Perform data modeling, DAX calculations, and data transformations.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud services.
- Optimize performance and usability of reports for end-users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics or application development.
- Proven expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, Sharepoint and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure services is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Advanced Excel for advanced data analytics.
- Manage and maintain Sharepoint Online sites, Libraries, site lists and permissions.
- Experience with governance and security in Power Platform environments.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or related technologies.
