Requirements:

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our fast-paced and growing teams in Mumbai. You will work alongside cross-functional teams across Analytics, Tech and Product to build a data pipeline to store a massive amount of data from different sales channels, ad channels and engagement sources. Also involves analysing and driving effective experimentation through test and learn solutions, examining data from a variety of perspectives to determine hidden weaknesses, trends or opportunities and automate analytical models.

How will you make an impact? 

Will be responsible to create, oversee and maintain internal and external data pipelines while working closely with our Analytics, Technology and  Product leads to standardize our sales and external data. This person will be responsible for building data foundation and integration to sales, ad platforms and WMS platforms and creating centralized data warehouses, data dictionaries for multiple commercial stakeholders.  

What you will do: 

· Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

· Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

· Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.

· Build compatibility with analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.

· Work with stakeholders including the Analytics, Product, Tech and Marketing teams to assist with data insights and automation requirements.

· Execute, and maintain the strategy for our data warehousing and pipelines to cater to specific business objectives, from implementation to maintenance 

· Conduct both recurring and ad hoc analysis for management and work with management to prioritize business and collect information needed to optimize revenue and improve operations and processes.

What you will need : 

· 2-4 years’ experience working in a full Data Engineering team:  Data Engineers, Data Analyst, DBAs, etc. 

· Familiarity with SQL 

· Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MySQL and Cassandra.

· Experience with AWS cloud services: Redshift,EC2, EMR, RDS.

· Experience with Data Warehouses such as Google Big Query, Snowflake, or Redshift 

· Experience managing the full end-to-end pipeline for data warehousing and data pipelines for analytics and BI stakeholders 

· Knowledge of BI tools such as Power-BI, Qlik Sense, Meta base etc.

· Experience structuring data from unstructured data sources and maintaining SLAs for delivery.

Good to have 

· Experience integrating and creating incremental data pipelines using reporting APIs with external data sources like (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra , Pickrr, Razor pay etc)

· Experience in Python, C++, and/or a JVM language 

· Experience integrating and creating incremental data pipelines for Ad and marketing platforms using graph APIs of Facebook and Google.

· Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

· Familiarity with Data Governance and related concepts, e.g., lineage, quality, integrity, security
