Data Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Handling MIS operations for internal & external stakeholders
Communicating with internal teams to get requirement details
Generating analysis reports by fetching data from RDBMS, Big data, or other NoSQL sources
Extensive knowledge in SQL queries for data extraction from Data Sources
Writing shell scripts for reports automation
Preparing analysis/trending reports with MS Office tools (Excel)
Handling tickets in tools such as Freshdesk and JIRA
Data/counts reconciliation
Sharing campaign logs
Monitoring of reports delivery
Monitoring disk usage
Linux Cron configurations for reports scheduling
Other scripting experiences such as Python, Perl will be an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
B.E/B. Tech/MCA with 4-6 years of experience in MIS Operations.
Strong experience with SQL.
Strong experience in MS Office tools
Strong background in automation of reports.
Strong experience in writing shell scripts
Experience in Perl, Python, or PHP basics is a plus.
Basics of Tableau/Power BI is a plus
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, personable, and can prioritize tasks.
