Data Engineer - Python/SQL/ETL Tools Job in Dew Solutions Pvt Ltd at Gurgaon

Primary skills : SQL (MySQL/PostGRE), Python/Java, DWH, ETL, AWS (Redshift)
Desired Skills : No-SQL databases and Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) experience is a plus
Responsibilities

• Develop ETL jobs based on business requirements.
• Creating ETL & Data pipeline
• Design and Architect ETL process to optimize performance
• Direct interaction with clients to channelize requirements for new enhancements or processes.
• Adhere to existing coding standards.
• Enhance code for maintainability/reuse.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Perform thorough unit and integration testing.
  

Key Skills Required

• Strong SQL skills required on RDBMS such as MySQL/Postgres/Oracle
• Experience in designing and building Data Warehouse/Data Modelling, Data pipeline architecture.
• Strong coding knowledge on Java or Python
• Experience on a cloud platform such as AWS services ( EC2, RDS, Glue, Athena, S3, Redshift)
• Worked on anyone ETL tools (Talend/Pentaho/Informatica)
• Knowledge of No-SQL databases and Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) experience is a plus
• In-depth DB knowledge of strong DB skills - SQL & NOSQL Database
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as comfortable working in Agile.
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience in ETL using Java.
• Any Experience with Java Spring Framework or Rest web services.
• Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level.
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the 'big picture' view.
