Job Description

Primary skills : SQL (MySQL/PostGRE), Python/Java, DWH, ETL, AWS (Redshift)
Desired Skills : No-SQL databases and Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) experience is a plus
Responsibilities

Develop ETL jobs based on business requirements.
Creating ETL & Data pipeline
Design and Architect ETL process to optimize performance
Direct interaction with clients to channelize requirements for new enhancements or processes.
Adhere to existing coding standards.
Enhance code for maintainability/reuse.
Participate in code reviews.
Perform thorough unit and integration testing.

Key Skills Required

Strong SQL skills required on RDBMS such as MySQL/Postgres/Oracle
Experience in designing and building Data Warehouse/Data Modelling, Data pipeline architecture.
Strong coding knowledge on Java or Python
Experience on a cloud platform such as AWS services ( EC2, RDS, Glue, Athena, S3, Redshift)
Worked on anyone ETL tools (Talend/Pentaho/Informatica)
Knowledge of No-SQL databases and Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) experience is a plus
In-depth DB knowledge of strong DB skills - SQL & NOSQL Database
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as comfortable working in Agile.
Have at least 1-2 years of experience in ETL using Java.
Any Experience with Java Spring Framework or Rest web services.
Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level.
Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the 'big picture' view.
