Data Engineering Consultant - Hyderabad, TS (840353)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead single complex or multiple moderately complex projects typically ranging from $50K to $1M
- Develop and manage project plans and timelines to align with business goals
- Add value to project team by tracking tracks, owners, dependencies and date and holding team members accountable for deliveries
- Project teams made up of multiple cross functional IT Teams and vendors. Teams may be located in different countries
- Manage risks and create risk management strategies and plans
- Negotiate with team members thru conflicts
- Projects may be internal to Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, or sponsored by external partners/companies
- Visibility to IT upper management with line of business
- Project duration usually range from 3 - 9 months
- Maintain communicate with business and IT team members and project sponsors. Alert or escalate issues when appropriate
- Proactively monitor status for schedule, scope, benefit, cost, and quality
- Manage change request process
- Set-up project and team in time reporting systems
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering degree
- Agile Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer experience
- Experience with financial tracking and reporting from estimation thru completion phase
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification or Agile training
- Experience with PPM Optics
