1. Good understanding of databases core concepts and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
2. Comfortable with JavaScript/HTML/VB scripting/CSS/TypeScript, Python, etc.
3. Awareness of data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
4. Awareness of data warehouse/data lake/data mart concepts
5. Awareness of AWS/AZURE/GCP cloud technologies
6. Awareness of big data concepts and technologies
7. Understanding the data science concepts is a plus
8. Comfortable as a single contributor as well as a team player
9. Strong problem solving and analytical skills

1. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines
2. Build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for data scientists and business analysts to interpret
3. Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increase data accessibility, and foster data-driven decision making across the organization
4. Develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling
5. Build the infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and big data technologies
