Job Description

 Designation: Data Engineering Intern

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Developing and maintaining applications
2. Contributing to the overall design and architecture of the application developed and deployed
3. Working on performance tuning concerning executor sizing and other environmental parameters, code optimization, partitions tuning, etc.
4. Interacting with business users to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
5. Implementing projects based on functional specifications
6. Writing effective and scalable code

Skill(s) required
  • Python
  • SQL
Candidates can apply who:
  • have relevant skills and interests
  • are available for full time (in-office) internship
 

Other requirements

1. Good knowledge of Python and SQL

2. Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, or Pyramid)

3. Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)

4. Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)

5. Willingness to learn & upgrade to Big data and cloud technologies like PySpark Azure etc.

6. Team spirit

7. Good problem-solving skills
