Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Input and Processing:

Enter data from source documents (physical or digital) into prescribed computer systems or databases accurately and efficiently.

Process forms, applications, reports, invoices, orders, survey responses, or any other data as required.

Use company software tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, ERP systems, CRM platforms, or customized data entry applications.
2. Data Verification and Validation:

Review data for accuracy and completeness before and after entry.

Cross-check information with source documents or internal databases to detect and correct errors.

Flag any inconsistencies or missing information to the supervisor for clarification or resolution.
3. Database Maintenance and Updating:

Maintain and regularly update customer, employee, or vendor information in databases.

Modify existing records when updated information is received (e.g., address changes, contact info, payment records).

Organize and categorize data logically for easy retrieval and reference.
4. Documentation and Filing:

Create, organize, and manage digital and physical filing systems.

Scan paper documents and convert them into digital formats when required.

Ensure data is backed up periodically to prevent loss or unauthorized access.
5. Reporting and Recordkeeping:

Generate basic reports from databases or spreadsheets based on team or department needs.

Maintain logs of daily work completed and submit performance updates to supervisors.

Help prepare reports, summaries, or data analytics as requested.
6. Communication and Coordination:

Coordinate with team members, supervisors, or other departments to obtain data or clarify discrepancies.

Respond to basic data-related queries and provide updates on data entry status.

Attend meetings or training sessions to stay updated on data protocols and system changes.
7. Compliance and Confidentiality:

Adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies while handling sensitive company or client information.
