Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, fast, and reliable Data Entry Clerk / Operator to assist in maintaining, organizing, and processing company data with speed and accuracy. The primary responsibilities include entering information into databases or systems from various sources such as forms, paper documents, spreadsheets, or digital files.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry & Processing:

Accurately enter data into spreadsheets, software programs, or databases.

Input customer details, product data, transaction records, or inventory numbers as required.

Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct inconsistencies.

Verify entered information against source documents.
2. Documentation & Record Maintenance:

Organize and maintain digital or physical filing systems.

Scan documents, rename files appropriately, and upload to cloud or internal storage.

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data (financial records, personal information, etc.).
3. Data Cleaning & Validation:

Check and update outdated or missing information.

Standardize data formats (e.g., phone numbers, addresses).

Flag duplicates or errors and coordinate with the concerned department for correction.
4. Reporting and Logs:

Generate daily or weekly summary reports as instructed.

Maintain logs of activities and completed tasks.

Ensure timely submission of data to supervisors or managers.
5. Communication and Coordination (if required):

Coordinate with team members to gather or clarify required data.

Respond to emails or messages regarding data issues or input status.

Support other administrative or clerical duties, if assigned.
Key Skills Required:
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) or Google Sheets/Docs

Familiarity with data entry software, CRMs, or ERP systems (training will be provided)

Typing speed: Minimum 30–40 WPM with high accuracy

Ability to work with data formats like CSV, PDF, XLSX, etc.
