Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry and Management

Accurately enter data into spreadsheets, databases, or company ERP/CRM software.

Update, correct, and verify data from paper-based or digital source documents.

Perform regular data cleansing to eliminate duplicate or incorrect records.

Maintain up-to-date records of invoices, receipts, forms, survey results, or inventory lists.
2. Data Verification and Accuracy

Review entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Compare data with source documents or cross-check with other departments when needed.

Rectify data entry errors and ensure data integrity before final submission.

Follow company standards for data formatting, naming conventions, and categorization.
3. Document Handling and Filing
-
Scan, organize, and file physical documents and reports as per department needs.

Label files, maintain folder structures, and retrieve information on request.

Archive outdated files as per company retention policies.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company or customer information at all times.
4. Reporting and Coordination
-
Assist in generating regular reports using data from various sources (Excel, ERP, MIS systems).

Coordinate with finance, HR, sales, or warehouse teams to obtain or verify required data.

Provide support in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly dashboards or summaries.

Maintain logs and summaries of work done for reporting to supervisors.
5. Software Usage and System Updates

Use tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, Tally, SAP, or custom database systems depending on company operations.

Perform regular backups of entered data as per IT or admin protocols.

Update task status on company platforms like Slack, Trello, or internal trackers if applicable.

Learn new software or automation tools as required by the team.
