Data Entry Operator
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Operator to handle the recording, monitoring, and updating of material movement data. The role involves maintaining accurate records of material inward and outward entries, ensuring timely updates in the system, and supporting the inventory/warehouse team with proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Enter and update data related to material receipts (inward) and issues (outward) in the system/ERP.

Maintain accurate logs of stock movement, purchase entries, and dispatch details.

Cross-check GRN (Goods Receipt Note), invoices, delivery challans, and material issue slips with system entries.

Ensure timely and error-free data entry to support inventory management and reporting.

Coordinate with storekeepers, purchase, and accounts teams for material-related updates.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for material in & out transactions.

Verify physical stock vs. system data to avoid discrepancies.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of all records.
Skills & Competencies Required

Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry software/ERP systems.

Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work with numbers and maintain error-free records.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Basic understanding of inventory, warehouse, and stock management processes.
