Job Summary:
We are looking for a Data Entry Typist who is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with basic computer operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for typing and entering data into company systems, updating records, managing office documentation, and assisting with general clerical work.
This role is suited for someone who is efficient with MS Word and Excel, possesses good typing speed and accuracy, and can handle repetitive tasks with focus and responsibility. It is a vital support function that ensures our office and digital operations run smoothly and are well-documented.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry & Typing Tasks:

Accurately input data from source documents into spreadsheets, word processors, or software systems.

Type letters, reports, records, bills, forms, invoices, and other official documents as instructed.

Convert handwritten or scanned documents into editable digital formats.
2. Document Management:

Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems.

Prepare and maintain office documentation such as reports, employee records, customer databases, invoices, etc.

Ensure all documents are updated, named, and saved properly for easy retrieval.
3. Excel & Word Work:

Use Microsoft Excel to prepare data sheets, maintain logs, and perform basic formulas such as totals, averages, etc.

Create and format documents using MS Word (letterheads, reports, tables, templates).

Assist in preparing presentations or summaries if needed.
4. Office Coordination & Miscellaneous Work:

Coordinate with team members or departments for information collection and verification.

Perform routine checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of entered data.

Support clerical work such as printing, photocopying, scanning, and file labeling.

Handle emails and basic communication regarding document updates.
Required Skills:

Typing speed: Minimum 30–40 words per minute with high accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel and Word.

Good written English and ability to format documents professionally.

Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Basic knowledge of email handling and file-sharing tools (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive).
