Skills and Experience :
- Good to have knowledge of any scripting language, like Shell, VBA, Python, etc.
- Good experience in test automation for Big Data/EDW data programs by using Java or Python or Shell scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving skill, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in coordinating test activities and optimizing test cycles while working with the project team.
- Expertise in conducting and running defect triage meeting with project teams.
- Knowledge of Selenium test automation and experience with performance testing tools.
- Experience in QE for streaming data ingestion would be a plus.
- Expertise in all aspects of QE which includes delivering effective testing strategies and testing artifacts, like Test Plans, Test Cases, Testing Execution Reports, etc.
- Ability to work with file formats like Avro, Parquet, sequence files, text files, etc.
- Expertise in creation of test automation frameworks using Python.
