Role Summary:
Heineken, a global leader in the beverage industry, is building a world-class
Analytics Hub in Hyderabad. The HBS Analytics Hub Lead is a strategic
leadership and talent development role, responsible for building, scaling, and
sustaining a global analytics team based in Hyderabad. This role is less about
delivering content or hands-on solutions, and more about building the right team,
assessing the right talent, and creating the organizational conditions for long-term
analytics excellence.
As the Hub Lead, you will shape the future of HEINEKEN’s global data capability by
recruiting and growing diverse talent, embedding modern ways of working, and
partnering with global stakeholders to ensure the hub delivers meaningful business
impact through people—not just platforms.
You will oversee a team of ~20 professionals across Data Science, Data
Engineering, BI & Insights, and Analytics Product Management each with a chapter
lead reporting into you.
This is a strategic and highly visible leadership role, where your primary levers
are people, process, and partnerships, enabling value creation through data,
fostering innovation, and shaping how analytics contributes to HEINEKEN’s global
transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent & Capability Leadership
Build and manage a diverse, high-performing analytics team aligned with
HEINEKEN’s strategic priorities.
Develop a sustainable talent pipeline, assessing potential through experience
and capabilities rather than hands-on coding skills.
Design career paths, role frameworks, and performance structures for
analytics professionals across domains.
Coach chapter leads and empower them to be effective people developers
and organizational leaders.
Drive a culture of learning, inclusion, curiosity, and strategic thinking.
Strategic Partnership & Organizational Design
Serve as the primary interface between the HBS hub and Global Analytics
leadership.
Collaborate with business, functional, and regional leaders to understand
talent needs and align hub capabilities accordingly.
Shape and adapt the hub’s operating model in alignment with evolving global
business requirements.
Evangelize the role of analytics talent within the broader Heineken
transformation.
Governance & Delivery Oversight
Ensure quality and consistency of delivery across teams, while remaining
focused on strategic goals.
Align hub operations with global GA standards on architecture, platforms, and
governance while tailoring to local talent realities.
Partner with global and regional delivery leads to coordinate solution
development and scale.
Foster reuse and knowledge sharing by maintaining an analytics best-practice
library.
