Job Summary

• Understand business requirements and convert them into actionable data models
  
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
  
• Mining complex data, processing, cleaning, and validating the integrity of data
  
• Create automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance.
  
• Cull out insights from existing reports and propose new reports and powerful but easy to comprehend visualizations as per requirement.
  
• Conduct data research, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, stochastic score card development and other steps as assigned on analytics projects across our Customer Interaction Solutions & Product Support Services and related support functionalities.
  
• Work with database developers and data owners to understand the data sources and the data point description
  
• Create & maintain standard documentation
  

Responsibilities and Duties

• 0-1 years of relevant Knowledge
  
• Ability to understand business problems and convert them into data models Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills
  
• Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  
• Expert in using query language SQL Knowledge in analyzing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets using R.
  
• Knowledge in SPSS with Market Research preferred.
  

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of fundamental statistical concepts, Predictive Modeling, Classification techniques, Factor analysis, PCA, Forecasting, Neural Networks, Bayesian Models, Operations Research methods etc. Hands on Knowledge in a couple of them.
  
• Good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms is preferred
  
• Knowledge in natural languages processing / text mining is preferred
  
• Exposure to Data Visualization Tools and Knowledge in creating smart dashboards is preferred
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research with relevant degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline
  
• Candidates from reputed institutes will be preferred.
