Location â Hyderabad, India
1. About the Role
IM BEST is an online reporting platform designed for IM executives and their teams. It enables organization and visualization of various Performance, Activity, and Access metrics across the Novartis data ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for operations activities within the IM BEST environment. This includes refreshing data in the DQ environment, performing quality checks, and promoting validated data to production for end-user access. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of reporting services, supported by structured project management practices and comprehensive documentation.
2. Your Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
⢠Perform routine operations such as data refreshes, validations, and quality assurance checks in the DQ and production environments
⢠Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
⢠Document findings, issues, test cases, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
⢠Maintain and improve quality checklists and documentation repositories
⢠Deliver services using structured project management methods with clear communication and reporting
⢠Contribute to the standardization and optimization of processes through documentation and knowledge sharing
⢠Work independently with minimal oversight to ensure timely and high-quality outputs
⢠Provide support during the US shift (2 PM to 10 PM IST)
3. Essential
⢠Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and SQL for data visualization
⢠Experience in building reporting products for Field Users and Commercial Leadership teams
⢠Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ETL tools, and familiarity with other visualization platforms like Power BI
⢠Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver independently
⢠Experience in process documentation and maintenance of knowledge repositories
⢠Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
4. Desirable Requirements:
⢠Bachelorâs or masterâs degree (or other advanced degree) in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences; an MBA is preferred
⢠Prior experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly desirable
⢠Demonstrated learning agility and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
