Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented DBA Intern who is eager to build a strong career
in database management. We’ll provide a comprehensive learning experience where you will be trained in
PostgreSQL from fundamentals to advanced level, preparing you for a full-time DBA role in the
industry.
- In-depth industrial training on PostgreSQL covering real-time database environments.
- Hands-on exposure to live projects and production-level scenarios.
- Mentorship from experienced DBAs to build strong technical expertise.
- Opportunity to work on performance tuning, backup strategies, and data optimization.
- Practical exposure to MongoDB and similar database concepts.
- Additional learning and training on various database administration tools, monitoring utilities,
and industry-standard database technologies.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and relational concepts.
- Strong willingness to learn and build expertise in PostgreSQL.
- Interest in database performance, security, and optimization.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Developing simple and complex stored procedures, functions and views to meet
enhancement requirements. - Assist in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Developing automation technologies to expedite the process of monitoring
databases. - Writing optimized complex SQL queries.
- Maintaining sound backup and recovery procedures.
- Performing database performance monitoring.
