Job Description
Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
· Perform installation, configuration and up-gradation of Database on all environment
· Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB
Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other
database objects etc.
· Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the performance using tools
· Position requires proficiency in Backup and Recovery, Database Administration and Create physical/logical standby database and.
· To extend the required technical support for all issues related to production Database(s)
and also during the product development, testing and release phases.
· Review and improve the Oracle queries as required by the business
· Define the required Oracle patch level (based on Oracle support and our Company
requirement)
· Experience and hands-on related to Database security.
· Operating system knowledge: Windows, CentOS, and Red Hat/Oracle Linux
· Preferably an Oracle and MSSQL Certified Database Administrator
· Perform the RMAN Backups and recoveries based on the requests/ on periodically
