Job Description
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) invites application for the position Database Manager
Qualification Essential: PhD in Statistics/ computer science or Master's degree in Statistics/ computer science with minimum 4 years of experience in computer programming / database management in a research setting.
Desirable:
i. Strong programming skills in SAS, R, or a related programming language.
ii. Undeststanding of database issues of longitudinal studies.
iii. Relational database experience preferred (MS Access or similar)
iv. Data visualization experience preferred
v. Experience working with REDCap, preferred.
vi. Analytic skills to maintain and organize large datasets
vii. Superior organizational and data management skills
viii. Ability to work with institutional IT representatives in integrating project needs with available institutional resources and initiatives.
ix. Excellent oral and written communication skills
x. Strong analytic and computer skills with extensive
xi. knowledge of database management.
xii. Prior team management and leadership experience.
xiii Excellent understanding of data administration
xiv. Proficient in MS Office Excel, Access, Word etc.
Pay/month (Approx.): Rs. 56,350/-
Age Limit: Upto 40 years
