Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks as Architect (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, Notebooks, Clusters/Compute optimization)
Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship to distributed/offshore engineering teams
Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python for data engineering and pipeline development
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and data pipeline architecture on Databricks
Experience with CI/CD practices for Databricks (e.g., Databricks Asset Bundles, Repos, DevOps integration)
Ability to review code, troubleshoot performance issues, and drive best practices across a development team
Strong communication skills to bridge onshore/offshore collaboration and provide clear, actionable technical direction
Experience accelerating development timelines through reusable frameworks, templates, or automation
Familiarity with cloud platforms underlying Databricks (AWS/Azure) for infrastructure and access considerations
