Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Dealer Sales Executive to manage and grow our dealer network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with dealers/distributors, ensuring product availability, achieving sales targets, and enhancing overall dealer satisfaction.

You will act as a bridge between the company and the dealers, helping them succeed while driving revenue for the organization. This role is ideal for someone with field sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a result-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dealer Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing dealers in the assigned territory.

  • Identify and onboard new dealers or channel partners based on market potential.

  • Train dealers and their staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and branding guidelines.

  • Ensure dealers comply with pricing policies, payment terms, and sales targets.

2. Sales Target Achievement

  • Drive sales through the dealer network to meet monthly and quarterly targets.

  • Implement schemes, discounts, or promotional campaigns to boost dealer sales.

  • Track primary (from company to dealer) and secondary (from dealer to customer) sales performance.

3. Market Expansion

  • Analyze market trends and identify untapped regions for dealer expansion.

  • Visit potential dealers, pitch product offerings, and convert them into long-term partners.

  • Provide territory-wise mapping, coverage planning, and penetration reports.

4. Order Processing & Inventory Coordination

  • Collect purchase orders from dealers and coordinate with the supply chain for timely dispatch.

  • Monitor stock levels at dealer locations and ensure optimum inventory availability.

  • Resolve order-related queries or delivery issues promptly.

5. Branding & Merchandising

  • Ensure branding materials such as banners, posters, display stands, etc., are properly placed at dealer premises.

  • Monitor in-store product visibility and coordinate with the marketing team for merchandising support.

  • Promote seasonal offers, new launches, and flagship products to enhance brand presence.

6. Dealer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Assist dealers with billing, credit note requests, warranty claims, and after-sales queries.

  • Address and resolve grievances with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Act as a liaison between dealers and internal departments (logistics, accounts, service).

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed daily visit reports, dealer performance records, and competitor insights.

  • Submit weekly/monthly sales forecasts, collection reports, and territory activity updates.

  • Keep accurate records of communication, commitments, and pending issues.

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic reporting tools

  • Comfortable using CRM software or sales tracking apps

  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to communicate technical specs (if applicable)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Sales-driven attitude with negotiation and persuasion abilities

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently

  • Team player with a willingness to travel regularly
