Delivery Associate/Executive
Job Description
We are always looking for a Delivery Associate/Executive who can work for us as a full-timer, part-timer, weekend & or night shifts so that you can make use of your time wisely and earn more money.
Duties:
- Responsible for collecting the delivery items from the warehouses/Pickup location.
- Ensure the safe delivery of items at the customers place on time.
- Cross check if correct items are picked up and delivered.
- Responsible for collecting the right amount of payment from the customers.
- Report or update the delivered items information correctly.
Who could be ideal for this Job?
- You should have a Bike and Driving license
- One who is passionate to drive/ride the bike
Key Responsibilities

Order Collection and Verification

Pick up items from the company warehouse, retail outlet, restaurant, or supplier location as assigned.

Verify the accuracy of the items to be delivered by cross-checking with the delivery manifest, invoice, or digital order.

Ensure that goods are packed securely to avoid damage during transit.

Confirm that all necessary documents (bills, delivery receipts, etc.) are available before starting the delivery route.

Timely Delivery

Plan delivery routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to the delivery schedule provided.

Use GPS navigation or route planning tools to reach destinations promptly.

Deliver orders within the stipulated time frame, ensuring minimal delays.

Adapt to changing circumstances such as traffic congestion, road closures, or weather conditions to maintain punctuality.

Customer Interaction and Service

Greet customers politely upon delivery and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Confirm the recipient’s identity and obtain the necessary acknowledgment or digital signature.

Handle any customer queries regarding the delivery process, item condition, or order details.

Maintain a courteous and positive attitude, as this interaction often forms the customer’s final impression of the company.

Documentation and Reporting

Update delivery status in the company’s mobile app or tracking system in real time.

Obtain proof of delivery such as signed receipts, photographs, or digital confirmation.

Report any issues during delivery—such as failed delivery attempts, address discrepancies, or damaged goods—to the supervisor or customer service department.

Maintain accurate delivery logs for record-keeping and operational analysis.

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance

Operate delivery vehicles (two-wheeler, three-wheeler, or four-wheeler) responsibly, following all traffic rules and safety guidelines.

Conduct basic checks of the vehicle before starting the delivery route, such as fuel level, tire pressure, and overall condition.

Keep delivery equipment (bags, crates, boxes) clean and well-maintained.

Report any mechanical issues to the fleet management or maintenance team.

Safety and Compliance

Follow all road safety regulations to ensure personal and public safety.

Handle products carefully, especially fragile or perishable goods.

Adhere to company policies on product handling, cash collection, and delivery protocols.

Comply with hygiene and food safety regulations when delivering food or grocery items.

Cash Handling (if applicable)

Collect cash payments from customers where cash-on-delivery (COD) is applicable.

Issue correct change and receipts for cash transactions.

Safely deposit collected amounts with the designated person or department at the end of the shift.
